- Instructions on printing the Qmodem 4.2 Manual
- ----------------------------------------------
-
- This is really going to be easy! Simply type PRINTDOC and press ENTER at the
- DOS prompt. Answer the questions, and your documentation will print.
-
- The first question ask where the output should go. The default is PRN, but
- could easily be changed to LPT2 or a disk filename if you want to put it on
- your harddisk and browse it with a LIST utility (of which none has been
- provided).
-
- The next question asks if you want the IBM PC high-ascii characters converted
- to DOTS. This is in case you are printing on a printer that does not support
- the line drawing character set of the IBM PC.
-
- The third question asks where you want to start printing. This is a RELATIVE
- page offset from the beginning of the manual. If you get a paper jam or have
- to restart, you can pick up almost where you left off. If you stopped, say on
- page 123, to restart at that page, use a relative offset of 133. The first 10
- pages are the introduction and Table of Contents. These take up 10 pages
- which is why it is a relative offset. If you entered 123 to the prompt, the
- printer would have started at page 113 (123 - the first 10 pages).
-
- Then just press ENTER at the last prompt to begin!
-
-
- Note: If you do decide to print the file to disk, it will take up 629058
- bytes.
