- Besides this file, there are three files from my talk, "Using
- Telecommunications in Clipper Applications. You will need
- the SilverComm library to link the .PRG. The files are:
-
- AUTOCOMM.PRG - The Clipper 5.0 source code
- ADBUS.DBF - Script data base for the ADBUS BBS in Atlanta
- SBULLET.DBF - Script data base for the SIlver Bullet in Dallas
-
- The ADBUS data base contains the standard prompts for a PCBOARD type
- BBS and the SBULLET.DBF contains the prompts for the Silver Bullet
- BBS software which is writen in Clipper.
-
- The ADBUS BBS is run by the Atlanta Data Base Users Society. It can be
- reached at (404) 998-2804. Call it the first time using a standard
- communications program like Procomm and register. In 24-48 hours you
- will be given free access of 20 minutes per day. The Clipper conference
- has many megabytes of current Clipper free and shareware files.
- The ADBUS BBS operates at 1200-2400 baud using N-8-1 parameters. In
- July the BBS will be upgraded to 9600 baud V.32 or V.42 protocol.
-
- The Silver Bullet BBS is operated by SilverWare and offers free access
- to all callers. The Silver Bullet can be accessed at 1200 - 9600 baud
- using N-8-1 parameters. Is telephone numbers are (214) 247-2177 and
- (214) 247-2193. The 9600 baud mode supports V.42 (Hayes) protocol.
-
- SilverWare demo programs are available in Directory 13 and the source
- code to the Silver Bullet BBS program is available in Directory 95.
-
- An EXE of the autocomm program will be available after the conference
- on both of these BBS's. Questions to me concerning my talk can be
- addressed to me on the ADBUS BBS or on CompuServe (74105,756).
