  9. On Tuesday, March 31, our Tax Department  received three shoe boxes 
  10. via Express Mail which they assumed contained your tax records.
  11. Instead, the boxes contained the following:

  13.    one pair athletic shoes, powder blue with white swoosh, size 12
  14.    one pair wing tips, brown, size 12 EE
  15.    one pair ladies dress sandals, red patent leather, size 7
  16.  
  17. We are returning the shoes via registered mail to your home address.  
  18. Mr. Thomas, you  may want to check with your shoe repair shop to see 
  19. if they are in possession of the boxes  containing your receipts.  If 
  20. so, please expedite the records, as April 15 is fast approaching.
