- From the icon, on WB, you can either Return to

- Addresses - Takes you to the Addresses. Keep all your

- ToDo's - Takes you to the ToDo's. Keep track of both your

- if needed.

- Area Codes - Brings the Area Code Lister onto the current screen.
- This will help you find an area code for anywhere in
- the world. Enter Area Code or City name in Search.

- Wallet - Takes you to The Wallet. An area for keeping track of
- all those cards in your wallet. Also has dialer.

- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - 0
- Quit - Brings up a requester asking if you wish to quit or not.

- Palette - Brings up a small window. You can then make colour
- adjustments to the 8 colour pallette and to the
- screen, button, and date/time text.

- the Help mode, just click the the close button in
- the top Righthand corner of this window.

- Info - Gives you a screen with information of version number,
- distributor and author of Information Manager Pro.

- Alarm - A window appears with areas for setting up to 10 alarms/reminders.
- They can be set for any time, day, month, year. The times are set
- in military time by using the sliding gadgets.

- Computer - Takes you to the Computer database. Here you can
- keep a comprehensive list of your computer hardware
- AND software. Has dialer.

- Personal/Business Selection - Select between your Business and Personal
- Database for this area. Shows list of all
- Names in the database.

- Shortcut key = Personal = Right Amiga - Business = Right Amiga +
- Listing - Shows complete list of Names/Items/Companies in database.

- Shortcut key = NONE
- Hardware/Software Selection - Select between your Hardware and Software
- Database for this area. Shows list of all
- Names in the database.

- Shortcut key = Software = Right Amiga - Hardware = Right Amiga +
- New - Creates a blank database entry. The cursor will move to the
- first field on the screen. You can then proceed to enter
- new data.

- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - a
- Search - Brings up a requester for searching all fields in the
- database. It is NOT case sensitive.

- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - z
- Delete - Will delete the current entry on screen. To make the
- deletion final, you must do a Save. Also, when you
- leave the module, a Save is automatic.

- Save - Will save all the current work you have done. Only needs
- to be done after all entries or editing of entries is
- completed. Automically done when leaving the module.

- Mark Beginning of Block - Mark the beginning line of a block for Cut/Paste
- procedures. Full line marking only!

- Shortcut key = Alt - b
- Print Entries - Prints flagged list of database with ALL fields and
- documents included. Each entry will be separated by
- a 70 column broken line.

- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - e
- Print Labels - Print flagged list of mailing addresses on a
- 3 1/2" X 15/16" label. 5 lines total. Make sure
- Mailing Address has 5 lines or more. IMP prints
- 5 lines plus 1 blank of Mailing Address.
- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - l
- Mark End of Block - Mark the beginning line of a block for Cut/Paste
- procedures. Full line marking only!

- Shortcut key = Alt - e
- Priority - Will automatically set LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH in the Priority
- field and move cursor to the next field. If you do not use
- one of these and hit return, HIGH is preset in the field.

- Copy Marked Block - Copies the marked block to a buffer. These lines
- can then be used for pasting or cutting.

- SHORTCUT KEY = Alt - c
- Paste Marked Block - Will Paste the copied block in the buffer to the
- current position of the cursor. Once done, the
- buffer is deleted.

- SHORTCUT KEY = Alt - i
- Delete Marked Block - Will delete marked block.

- SHORTCUT KEY = Alt - d
- Dial Number - Initializes the modem and dials the number to the
- left of the button pushed. Once dialed, pick up the
- receiver and click the H button.

- Hang Up - Use to either abort a dialing procedure or after dialing
- a number, pick up the receiver and click this button.

- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - ESCape
- Notes - Clicking this button produces a full screen for editing and/or
- loading text files for inclusion in your Notes about the
- current entry. When onscreen, click Return to go back to module.

- Calculator - Basic calculator for doing most arithmetic functions.
- Also has memory funtion.

- Clear - This will clear all entries in the current appointment
- schedule on the screen.

- Delete - Will delete all Events for the current date on screen
- from disk. If you have selected Confirm Delete in the
- Config, you will be prompted with a requester.

- Print - Will print all date's that have been flagged with the
- Escape key and mouse button click.

- Save - The current Appointments for this date will be saved to disk.
- They will be read and flagged to show on the current month.

- Month Selection - This will move you to the month of your choice.

- Calendar - Clicking on a day will open Events schedule for that day.
- Holding the Escape and clicking the day will flag the date
- for printing. A 'P' will appear in the date box. Click again
- and the 'P' will disappear, unflaggging the date.

- Load Document - A file requester will appear and you can load any ASCII
- or FTXT file for editing.

- Insert Document - A file requester will appear and you can insert a
- text file at the cursor position in your current
- work.

- Print - Print your document to your Preferences printer or to a
- file.

- Save As - A file requester will appear and you can save your document
- to a file. It will be saved in straight ASCII format.

- Reservations - Takes you to the Reservations module. Here you can keep
- track of all your Hotels, Restaurants and Transportaion
- (Air/Car/Train/Bus) phone numbers, addresses, account #,
- etc. in different cities.

- Top - This will move your cursor to the top of the current document
- you are working on.

- Bottom - This will move your cursor to the bottom of the current
- document you are working on.

- Page Up - This will move your cursor 42 lines up at a time. Basically
- a screen of text at a time.

- Word Wrap - A requester will appear allowing you to select (with sliding
- gadget) the column you wish to either Auto Word Wrap or
- Reformat the currently loaded document. The default is 75.

- Clear Document - This will clear the current document from your screen
- and memory. Careful. Be sure that is what you want.

- Shortcut key - Right Amiga - c
- Search - A small requester appears and you enter the text you wish to
- search for. It is NOT case sensitive and searches from the
- current cursor position, forward.

- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - z
- Search & Replace - Requester appears for the Search and Replace text.
- Enter your choices and hit return. To do a Global
- replace, click the G button on the right.

- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - r
- Insert - If you have accessed Calender from Contacts, this will insert
- either 'Meeting with -contact name-' or 'Phone - contact name-'
- From Addresses, either Person's Birthday or Anniversary. From
- To Do's Deadline. Goes to correct title in Events window.
- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - u
- Clients - Takes you to a database of all your Clients. Keep track
- of that last phone call and/or meeting. Get your next one.
- Click Projects for the Project Manager. Has dialer.

- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - 3
- Flag Entries/Labels - This will flag ALL Entries for Entry or Label
- printing, depending on your Print selection.
- Clicking the button again, clears all Flags.

- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - f
- Save - This will save the currently loaded document to the same Path
- and Filename that loaded.
-

- Shortcut key = S
- Print - Print selecter appears and you can choose Labels or Entries,
- which have been flagged, to be printed. This, in turn, brings
- up a requester for selecting to aspects of your printout.

- Shortcut key = Right Alt -p
- Macros - Brings up Macros Module. You can assign function keys 1 - 10
- with single line/255 character macros and the Right Shift
- plus F1 - F10 with text files.

- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - m
- Tone or Pulse - Configure Information Manager Pro to do either Tone or
- Pulse Dialing in the various modules. Obviously, this
- does nothing if you have selected to Disable Dialing in
- IMP.

- Dialing - Select Enable to allow the Dialing functions to work in IMP.
- Or select Disable to keep the serial port clear. Some
- Terminal programs don't share the serial port too well and
- it might prove useful to Disable dialing.

- Clock Alarm - A File Requester will appear and you can locate the
- sound of your choice to be played when your clock alarm
- is activated. You can also enter the path and file in
- the field manually.
-
- Projects - Takes you to a database of projects for the particular
- Client or Contact in which you are currently viewing.
- Allows you to keep a database of Projects.
-
- Shortcut Key = None
- Appointments Alert - A File Requester will appear and you can locate
- the sound of your choice to be played at the
- startup of IMP to alert you to pending
- Appointments.
-
- Busy Serial Port - A File Requester will appear and you can locate the
- sound of your choice to be played at the startup of
- IMP to alert you to the serial port being used by
- another program.
-
- Iconize on Startup - If you select Yes, IMPro will start up in an
- Iconized form on the WorkBench.
- Selecting No will starts IMPro in its Main
- Menu state.

- Clock Format - 12 will give you a 12 hour format clock in all your
- modules. eg. 02:30:01 P.M. 24 will give you a 24 hour
- Military style clock. eg. 14:30:01

- Date Format - Alpha will give you an Alphabetic and Numeric date in
- all your modules. eg. Mar. 23/93. Numeric will give you
- strictly numeric format. eg. 03/23/93

- Autosave Data - If you select Yes in the configuration, your data from
- the current database will be automatically saved upon
- leaving the module. Selecting No means you must
- manually save the data before leaving the module.
-
- Save Config - This will save all your adjustments you have made in
- this current config section. It saves it to the
- S: directory and SHOULD NOT be edited outside of the
- IMPro Configuration Program.
- Remember, each section has to be saved.
- Use Config - This allows you to make changes in your config that will
- only be effective during the current session with IM Pro.
- Once you have Quit IM Pro, these changes are no longer in
- effect. Select Use then Return.

- Exit - Clicking this button will Return you to the module you were
- at originally before coming to the Configuration Menu.
- Be sure you have saved your changes.

- Serial Device - If you are using a serial device other than the
- Commodore built in serial port, you will have to
- let IM Pro know which device you are using.
- This button brings up a requester to locate the driver.
-
- Config - Takes you to the Configuration Menu. This will allow you to
- set up IMPro more to your own personal preferences.
- Once there, you can make your selections and save the file.
-
- Shortcut key = Right Amiga - * <- I use the one on the keypad
- Data Location - A File Requester will appear and you can choose the
- PATH ONLY to save all your data. You MUST NOT enter
- a filename. Make sure your Path ends in a / or :.
- Filenames are already pre-assigned.

- Macros - You will see 10 fields for each Funtion Key which will allow
- you to assign up to 255 characteres as a macro. You will also
- see 10 Right Shift - Function key fields with buttons to the
- right. Click the button to locate the text file to be used.

- Birthday - Takes you to the Calendar Module. There you can find the
- particular date for the entrie's birthday. If you enter the
- entrie's name in the Calendar and Save it, the program will
- automatically enter that date in the Birthday on return.

- Anniversary - Takes you to the Calendar Module. There you can find the
- particular date for the entrie's Anniversary. If you enter
- the entrie's name in the Calendar and Save it, the program
- will enter that date in the Anniversary field on return.

- Next Call - Takes you to the Calendar Module. There you can find the
- particular date for the entry's Next Call. If you enter
- the entrie's name in the Calendar and Save it, the program
- will automatically enter that date in the Next Call.

- Next Meeting - Takes you to the Calendar Module. There you can find the
- particular date for the entry's Next Meeting. If you enter
- the entrie's name in the Calendar and Save it, the program
- will automatically enter that date in the Next Meeting.

- Deadline - Takes you to the Calendar Module. There you can find the
- particular date for the entrie's Deadline. If you enter
- the entrie's ToDo in the Calendar and Save it, the program
- will automatically enter that date in the To Do's Deadline.

- Insert Notes Address - If you have Accessed Notepad from another module
- this will insert the Mailing Address of the
- current entry on the line of the cursor.

- Insert Your Address - If you have Accessed Notepad from another module
- this will insert Your Mailing Address defined in
- in the Config section.

- Projects/ - Takes you to a database of Projects/Letters for the
- Letters particular entry in which you are currently viewing.
- Allows you to keep a database of Projects/Letters.

- Agendas - Takes you to a database of Agendas for the particular
- Client or Contact in which you are currently viewing.
- Allows you to keep a database of Agendas by Date.

- Letters - Takes you to a database of Letters for the particular

- Allows you to keep a database of Letters by Date.

- Journal - Will take you to a full screen for Journal/Diary entries for
- the current day you are in. Use dropdown menu in Journal to
- Save or Print or Return to Calender.

- Full Page - Clicking this will bring the Events Window to a full screen.
- Allows for better viewing and editing.

- Save - Save all datafile locations selected in the individual fields.

- Location Requester - Brings up requester for user to select location
- of datafile. Drive/directory only.

- at the top of Invoices when they are printed. Selecting
- No, allows the user to have preprinted invoice forms with
- their own selected logo.

- Default Tax - Selecting Tax 1, Tax 2 or Both will set the default Tax
- Rate used in calcualtions in the Billing Module.
- For Example; Both will calculate GST and PST in Ontario,
- Canada.
- You must have Tax % filled in the appropriate field.
- Shipped - Produces a small window allowing the user to select the name
- of a company used to ship the product. The window also allows
- adding and deleting to the list.

- Payment - Produces a small window allowing the user to select what
- type of payment the Client is using for payment.
- The window also allows adding and deleting to the list.

- Discount - Produces a small window allowing the user to select a
- discount to be applied to the calculations on the Bill.
- Many discount percentages and reason can be preset.

- Sales Reports - A window appears allowing the user to select a Client
- or All plus specific months/year to view. Also select
- Tax, Total Sales, or Status Reports. This report is
- shown in the NotePad allowing full editing/printing.

- Ship to - Automatically copies the Billing Address to the Shipping
- Address.

- Clear - Clear the Quantity, Code, Description, Unit Price, and Sum
- Price fields.

- Shorcut Key = Shift - DEL
- Print - Will print the current Bill to either a File or the Printer.
- To do multiple prints of various Bills, use the List button
- and Mark the Bills to be printed. Use the List window's Print
- function. Reports are printed by way of the Sales button.
- Shortcut Key = Right Amiga - e
- Client - A Client List of your Clients database appears. Select the
- Client and the program will automatically insert the Name and
- Code in the appropriate fields. This also can be done when
- hitting return in an empty Client field of the Billing module.

- Code - A Code List with Number, Description and Unit Price will appear.
- Click the the appropriate Code/Item in the list and the data will
- be entered automatically. You can Add and Delete entries in this
- List. Hitting return in the empty Code field does the same.

- Return - Returns you to the module from which you originated. The
- user goes back to the Entry they were at.

- Mark Entries - The MA button will mark ALL entries for printing.
- The CA button will unmark ALL entries for printing.
- To print any entries they must be marked.

- Print List - This will print the complete database list as shown in the
- List Window.
