Companion Disc
In the book, you’ll be using a runtime demo version of the UnrealEngine2 Editor (UnrealEd), which is included on this CD. You’ll also find sample maps that demonstrate some of the building practices used in UnrealEd, sample textures in different themes, and sample static meshes you can place in your level. The CD also contains concept art created by industry artists that you can use to inspire your creations.
Installing the UnrealEngine2 Runtime software
1. Insert the CD and open the Unreal directory.
2. Launch the UE2Runtime-22262002_Demo.exe file. The installer will guide you through the installation process. You'll also be prompted to agree to Epic's UnrealEngine2 Runtime End-User License Agreement.

This disc is warranted to be free of defects in materials and faulty
workmanship under normal use for a period of 90 days after purchase.
If a defect is discovered in a disc during this warranty period, a
