  4.  This package contains a set of free, high-quality outline TrueType fonts.
  5.  They are derived from various free sources around the world, and are still
  6.  under heavy development, although they are quite usable already.
  7.     
  8.  This package has been recently updated to use defoma. In order to continue
  9.  using these fonts in X, you _will_ have to make a few small configuration
  10.  changes. These changes configure X to use defoma-installed fonts:

  12.  i) Install the package x-ttcidfont-conf
  13.  ii) Add the lines:
  14.        FontPath "/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType"
  15.      to /etc/X11/XF86Config
  16.  iii) Add the lines:
  17.        dir "/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType"
  18.       to /etc/X11/XftConfig
  19.  iv) Restart X.
  20.  v) You are done!
