  60.   public domain, but no modified version may use the same name, and
  61.   the names "TeX" and "MetaFont" for the resulting programs, unless

  96. 4. Text of the licenses

  98. The source code for tetex-bin contains the following license:

  100. The files within this directory are all free software. Most of these
  101. files are copyright by some author(s), but I have taken care that
  102. the following conditions are true:
  103.   - all files can be distributed: no license fee is required.
  104.   - using these files (even for commercial purpose) is not restricted.
  105.   - modification of files is allowed or an existing translation scheme
  106.     effectively makes modification unnecessary. E.g. Knuth's WEB files
  107.     must not be changed, but the build process allows you to change
  108.     the generated .c files by "change files". Please, check the license
  109.     of a file before you do modifications; you might need to mark those
  110.     modifications or to rename the program.
  111.   - the distribution of modified files and subsets of these files is
  112.     allowed, but please check the licenses if you do that.
