  1. This is the Debian package of GNU Guile, downloaded from
  2. ftp.gnu.org/pub/guile.

  4. Guile is protected by the terms of the GNU General Public License
  5. which you can find in /usr/share/common-licenses/GPL.  Guile is also
  6. covered by the following exception clause:

  8.   As a special exception, the Free Software Foundation gives
  9.   permission for additional uses of the text contained in its release
  10.   of GUILE.

  12.   The exception is that, if you link the GUILE library with other
  13.   files to produce an executable, this does not by itself cause the
  14.   resulting executable to be covered by the GNU General Public
