  4. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  5. before using this software. Your use of Space Explorer indicates
  6. your acceptance of this Licence Agreement.

  9. Beta Release
  10.  
  11. This is a beta release. It has not been fully tested and may 
  12. contain bugs. It has been released for experienced users who 
  13. are aware of the potential problems and risks associated with
  14. using beta software.
  15.  
  16. You are strongly advised to save any open documents before using
  17. Space Explorer. It is also a good idea not to use beta software
  18. with important data.

  21. Evaluation Version
  22.  
  23. This is not free software. You are licensed to use this software
  24. for evaluation purposes without charge for 30 days. If you use 
  25. this software after the 30-day evaluation period, a registration 
  26. fee is required. If this is a beta version of Space Explorer, you 
  27. must stop using it when the final version is released.

  30. Registered Version

  32. A single registration fee will license one copy of Space Explorer 5
  33. for use on any one computer by one person. This software may
  34. be moved from one computer location to another, so long as there
  35. is no possibility of it being used at one location while it is
  36. being used at another.

  38. You may access the registered version of Space Explorer through
  39. a network if you have obtained individual licences for the software
  40. covering all workstations that will access the software through 
  41. the network. For example, if three workstations will access Space 
  42. Explorer on the network, each workstation must have its own Space 
  43. Explorer licence, regardless of whether the workstations are used to
  44. access Space Explorer at different times or concurrently.

  47. Distribution

  49. Provided that you distribute only the evaluation version (that is, 
  50. you do not pass on any registration details), you are licensed to:

  52. * make as many copies of the evaluation version of this software 
  53.   and documentation as you wish;
  54.  
  55. * give exact copies of the original evaluation version to anyone;
  56.  
  57. * distribute the evaluation version of the software and documentation 
  58.   in its unmodified form via electronic means.

  61. You are prohibited from:

  63. * charging, or requesting donations, for any such copies, however 
  64.   made (free CDs on magazine covers are excluded from this prohibition); 
  65.  
  66. * distributing the software and/or documentation with other products 
  67.   (commercial or otherwise) without prior written permission.

  70. Governing Law

  72. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England, UK. 
  73. Unregistered use of Space Explorer after the 30-day evaluation period 
  74. is in violation of UK and international copyright laws.

  79. SPACE EXPLORER IS SUPPLIED "AS IS". THE AUTHOR DISCLAIMS ALL 
  80. WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, 
  81. THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE. 
  82. THE AUTHOR ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES, DIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL, 
  83. THAT MAY RESULT FROM THE USE OF SPACE EXPLORER.
