  69.  CPU             Detection older processors by standard methods
  70.             and new by instruction CPUID. Program can recognize
  71.             newer processors made by Intel, AMD, Cyrix and NexGen.
  72.             It also tests Pentium for well-known floating point bug
  73.             and for bug, which had older 80386 (POPAD).
  74.  MEMORY          You can see standard info about conventional,
  75.             extended and expanded memory, programs' layout in
  76.             memory, graphical overview and a little info about
  77.             used memory manager.
  78.  DISK            Disks, that's a long story, so at first, program
  79.             recognizes physical drives. You can get more floppy and hard
  80.             disks info reported by BIOS. If you have IDE disk and
  81.             your BIOS does not support autodetection, you can take usefull
  82.             ability to detect more interesting things directly from
  83.             disk controller. Next features are logical disks - disks 
  84.             known for DOS, files recognization, partition table
  85.             and software cache. Of course, you can see used encryption
  86.             and compression utilities.
  87.  VIDEO           What video card (chipset) is in my computer, standard
  88.             question of my friends. Program can find answer with its
  89.             database of aproximetly 130 video cards (chipsets). At 
  90.             present time (time of Windows,OS/2...) is not so important,
  91.             but, lots of DOS oriented graphical programs required it
  92.             - yes, that is VESA support. Program shows small info table
  93.             about supported VESA and VGA-BIOS video modes.
  94.  INPUT           Standard input device is keyboard. That is surprise,
  95.             isn't it? Although it is very important part of computer,
  96.             program display only a little info, e.g. type of keyboard,
  97.             extenders and buffer for keys etc. A bit more you can get
  98.             about mouse device - # buttons, connection, vendor, LCD
  99.             support, acceleration profiles... And if you have Logitech
  100.             mouse, this info will be complete.
  101.  PORTS           In your PC are probably three types of ports - serial
  102.             (for use with mouse and modem), parallel (usually occupated
  103.             by printer) and game port (without explanation).
  104.  DOS                Oh, no, that's really Microsoft Disk Operating System,
  105.             but still is difficult to find PC without DOS. So what can
  106.             you see? Version and vendor name, memory location, # FILES
  107.             STACK, BUFFERS, international support (code pages), device
  108.             drivers, environment table. If you run the program under 
  109.             MS Windows, VxD and used graphical device table shows.
  110.  BIOS             One of the main parts of PC. Program trys to detect vendor
  111.             name (AMI,AWARD,PHOENIX...), type of PC, used software 
  112.             interrupts, IRQ, BIOS data segment, CMOS table (only for 
  113.             two hard disks) and additional CMOS info (for AMI,Award 4.50).
  114.  OTHER           Shortly - Detection of network (if Novell Netware, than
  115.             more info is displayed - station and server info,userlist,
  116.             network disks), multimedia (detection of sound cards and
  117.             CD disks, recognition of used DSP and of course CD Player),
  118.             Advanced Power Management, PCI, MCA, PCMCIA, EISA, SCSI and
  119.             Plug-and-Play.

  147.  It's a big problem to do program for detection of system
  148.  information without bugs. In the world of PC Compatible
  149.  are many PC (and its components) which failed with IS.
  150.  Sometimes program shows incorrect info, sometimes your
  151.  PC hangs off. In my opinion, it isn't possible to produce
  152.  bug-free detection program. 
  153.  
  154.  When your PC hangs, please edit IS.INI, part [DETECTION]
  155.  and switch off all problem parts. If you are not successful,
  156.  use other boot-up sequence or try to use clean boot.

  162.  what enjoy me (e.g. postcard with your opinion about my program),
  163.  or what help me (e.g. documentation for any secret of PC) or
  164.  anything else (software, hardware). Of course, when you have
  165.  a lots of money, you can send me to my home address (~10 $, 15 DM,
  166.  100 SK, 100 KC) like a cash, it helps me to improve the program.
