  8.  The requirements for LG-Fax Workstation are:
  9.   - Windows NT Workstation 3.51/4.0 or
  10.     Windows NT Server 3.51/4.0
  11.   - Class 2 or 2.0 compatible fax modem

  14. Update an old version:
  15. ----------------------
  16.  If you want to install LG-Fax Workstation over an
  17.  old version of LG-Fax Workstation or LG-Fax Client
  18.  just run the setup program.
  19.

  21. Running setup:
  22. --------------
  23.  Before you can use LG-Fax Workstation, you must run
  24.  the setup program provided with this software
  25.  (distribution disk or directory tree).
  26.  
  27.  1. Log in with a local administrator account or an user
  28.     account that belongs to the administrator group.
  29.  2. Start the Explorer/File Manager of Windows NT.
  30.  3. Insert the distribution disk of LG-Fax Workstation
  31.     into drive A or B or if you are installing from a
  32.     hard disk or connected network directory, be sure
  33.     that all of the distribution files are in this
  34.     directory.
  35.  4. Select the drive and directory with the distribution
  36.     files of LG-Fax Workstation.
  37.  5. Run the setup program by double-clicking on the
  38.     file SETUP.EXE.
  39.  6. Follow the instructions of the setup program.
  40.  7. Configure LG-Fax with the application LG-Fax
  41.     Configuration in the Start Menu/Programm Manager.
  42.  8. Reboot Windows NT.

  45. Additional technical information
  46. --------------------------------
  47. We have added some additional features to LG-Fax, which can't
  48. be configured with the LG-Fax Configuration application.
  49. To use this features, you must create and set some values
  50. in the registry. All these values are stored in:
  51.  
  52. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Lipp&Grau\Fax
  53.  
  54. The additional values are:
  55.  
  56. - NoLGFaxLogo
  57.   Type: REG_DWORD
  58.   Values:  1 = The text "*LG-Fax*" is not printed in the
  59.                header line.
  60.            0 = The text "*LG-Fax*" is printed in the
  61.                header line.
