  11. Gopher and "by subject": i.e. Art & Entertainment,

  13. The database can be easily updated with new 
  14. information by downloading and appending new 
  15. files to your database.
  16. The program also offers powerful "Notebook"
  17. functions to store news sites, notes, email-
  18. addresses, even complete WWW pages etc.
  19. Users can subscribe to a set of public mailing
  20. lists and receive updates for their IRD database
  21. via email.
