Transcription: Ukiyo-e becomes popular from the latter part of the 17th century. Ukiyo-e woodblock prints were very popular in Japan from the 17th through 19th centuries. Ukiyo-e is said to have influenced great European artists such as Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet.
