  1. The files in these directories are in UNIX format, lines end with LF
  2. only.  Use the CRLF utility in the DOS directory as described in the
  3. doc file that accompanies it to convert them to MS-DOS format.

  5. The files have been put into separate directories to facilitate
  6. browsing (and access on the MAC, or other GUI systems) based on their
  7. "number".
