  6. In accordance with the previously-existing organizational rules, the
  7. IAB has approved the following two IESG recommendation:

  9. 1. The IESG recommends that the Internet Draft "IP and ARP over FDDI"
  10.    <draft-ietf-fddi-ipoverfddi-00.txt> be published as a Standard.  This
  11.    protocol is the product of the IP over FDDI Working Group of the
  12.    IETF.  The IESG contact person for this protocol is Philip Almquist
  13.    <Almquist@jessica.stanford.edu>

  16. 2. The IESG recommends to the IAB that the RIP Version 2 protocol and MIB
  17.    be published as Proposed Standards. RIPv2 and MIB are described in
  18.    the following documents:

  21.           <draft-ietf-malkin-rip-05.txt>
  22.  
  23.      "RIP Version 2 MIB Extension"
  24.           <draft-ietf-ripv2-mibext-03.txt>

  28.      "RIP Version 2 Protocol Analysis" 
  29.            <draft-ietf-ripv2-analysis-00.txt>

  31.    contains an analysis of the protocol and should be published as an
  32.    Informational RFC.  These protocols and documents are the product of
  33.    the RIP Version II Working Group chaired by Gary Malkin. The IESG
  34.    contact person is Bob Hinden.

  36. This completes all outstanding standards approvals by the IAB.
  37. Assuming successful completion of the reorganization begun at the last
  38. IETF meeting, future Internet standards approvals will come from the
  39. IESG.
