  18. Description of Working Group:

  20. The objective of the Transmission Architecture Working Group is to
  21. drive the development, documentation and testing of MIB objects for
  22. the physical and data-link layers of the OSI model.  The Working Group 
  23. attempts to consolidate redundant MIB variables from new specifications into a
  24. universal structure.

  29.   Ongoing Provide a forum for vendors and users of MAC layer communications 
  30.           equipment.
