- The files in these directories are the CCITT/ITU international
- standards from the 1988 Bluebook and the 1992 revisions. The file
- bluebook.org describes the naming convention used in the 1988
- directories and also has some references to the documents under their
- 1992 notation (x.400, eg). The file in_force lists the current
- recommendations. Not all of the files referred to in the in_force
- file are available in these directories.
-
- Under the 1988 directory are an ascii, ps, and troff directory which
- contain all of the available Bluebook docuements in each of three
- formats.
-
- The 1992 directory is arranged by letter designation. Within each
- directory the files are available in either Word-for-Windows or Word
- Perfect v5.0 format as well as ASCII and EPS. The EPS files have been
- formatted for printing on an Apple LaserWriter II printer.
-
- All ASCII files are in MS-DOS format, lines end with CRLF rather than
- LF as on UNIX.
