  1. The file ooserver.shar is a shell archive of the sources to the
  2. ooserver server, an example presented as part of the
  3. multi-threaded servers tutorial at the Second Usenix Mach
  4. workshop in November 1991 at Monterey, CA.  This is a toy service
  5. that demonstrates the construction of an object-oriented (ports
  6. represent objects) multi-threaded server.  The archive also
  7. contains a toy client to excercise the server.
