  35. Terminate the process, returning \fIreturnCode\fR (an integer) to the
  36. system as the exit status.
  37. If \fIreturnCode\fR isn't specified then it defaults
  38. to 0.
  39. This command replaces the Tcl command by the same name.
  40. It is identical to Tcl's \fBexit\fR command except that
  41. before exiting it destroys all the windows managed by
  42. the process.
  43. This allows various cleanup operations to be performed, such
  44. as removing application names from the global registry of applications.
