  3. I have only caught on recenlty with Luci Emacs (19.4). I use it on my
  4. linux machine at home and I love it. However, after a couple hours of
  5. use, lemacs grows in size (gradually, over the course of those two
  6. hours) to more than 8 megs. Now this is ridiculous, what would the
  7. program do with all that memory? I'm not editing any large files
  8. either (I have 20 megs, but it feels so little once you take 8 of that
  9. away).

  11. So I guess the question is: 1) Is this a known bug in 19.4? (that was
  12. hopefully corrected in a later version), and 2) Is this behavior
  13. observed on systems other than linux?

  15. By comparison, Emacs 18.58 and 19.7 never grow to more than two megs,
  16. and is usually at the 1.5 megs mark.
