  1. I with PATH_LOCK and without PATH_LOCK (in path.h), the lemacs not find the directory
  2. /usr/local/emacs/lock (The directory have 777 right).

  4. The lemacs is in the directory /usr/local/bin an the source is in the directory
  5. /usr/local/emacs.:-(

  8. $lemacs
  9. WARNING:
  10. couldn't find an obvious default for variable lock-directory, and
  11. there were no defaults specified in paths.h when emacs was built.
  12. Perhaps some directories don't exist, or the emacs executable,
  13. /usr/local/bin/lemacs is in a strange place?
  14.  
  15. Without lock-directory set, file locking won't work.  Consider
  16. creating /usr/local/emacs/lock as a directory or symbolic link for use
  17. as the lock directory.  (This directory must be globally writable.)
