  1. We've just received a new HP735 with hpux 9 loaded.
  2.  
  3. I'm trying to compile some variants of Emacs on it (specifically Epoch
  4. 4.2 and Lucid Emacs 19.6), using Gcc 2.3.2.  I've successfully
  5. compiled both under hpux 8 in the past.
  6.  
  7. Now they both complain because they can't find the -lcurses library
  8. (because it doesn't exist in the new HP O/S).
  9.  
  10. Does anyone know what combination of TERMINFO and LIBS_TERMCAP I need
  11. to specify in the config.h file to get these packages to work ?
  12.  
  13. If I need to compile a termcap or curses library, can anyone point me
  14. to freely redistributable source for these, and give directions for
  15. installation on a hpux9 machine ?
