  1. Is there a way to disable the menua bars (file,edit,buffers,help)? I
  2. sometimes dial up from my home via an x terminal and I;d rather not
  3. have the menuas (I never use them anyway!)because I noticed that
  4. refreshing the menua bar area takes a bit of time and thus slowing
  5. down the response time.
