  5. GNU Emacs incoroporates many of the features of Lucid Emacs.  We are
  6. using sections of Lucid's code, and have benefited from their advice.

  8. We have a Lucid emulation package (lucid.el) which may or may not be
  9. terribly effective; we'll have to see it in use.

  11. Some features of Lucid we will probably never have; Stallman doesn't
  12. like some of them.  Since the people with real influence over the
  13. designs of the products (Zawinski, Stallman) are both rather stubborn,
  14. I wouldn't hold my breath for a complete unification.
