  1. I wonder if this has happened to other sites or not but I found that new files
  2. created by lemacs 19.6 have file permission 0; i.e., not even read and write 
  3. permission for owner.  I have checked that my umask is set to 22.  I built it
  4. using MIT X11R5 patch level 22 and Motif 1.2.2 (using shared libraries) on
  5. SunOS 4.1.2.  Any clue?  Thanks in advance.
