  1. This is the README file for plot2ps, a utility for converting unix
  2. plot files to postscript.  See plot2ps.texinfo, the manual, for a more
  3. complete description of plot2ps.

  5. The makefile has instructions for installing plot2ps.  For many
  6. machines you can just type `make' and should expect the message `The
  7. regression test of plot2ps PASSED.' at the end of the compillation.

  9. Many thanks to Richard Stallman for his helpful discussions of the
  10. program and editing the documentation.  Also, thanks to John
  11. Interrante for generously providing the postscript prologue and
  12. helpful comments on the program.
