  6. That was the what the person who stumbled onto the bug said.  (I don't
  7. use the trace package myself because everything works the first time
  8. :-).  I don't see how that would matter because compiled code is just
  9. as wrong; it just bombs faster.  Besides, my slightly obsolete Franz
  10. manual says "the trace package ... usually in the file
  11. /usr/lib/lisp/trace.l".  I'm just wondering why the file doesn't work
  12. any more when it used to.  I'd rather fix the problem permanently
  13. instead of patching around it.
