  7. There are indeed a couple of switches that control various random aspects
  8. of hunks, but none of them have any effect on their atomic or non-atomic
  9. nature.  Hunks are never atoms in MacLisp.  Everybody agrees that this is a
  10. loss, but at this point it is rather deeply ingrained into things to think
  11. about changing it.
