  2.   Our group at NRL is planning to purchase Sun workstations. I
  3. currently have a substantial amount of code written in Franz Lisp that
  4. I want to run on the Sun. 
  5.  
  6.   What is the status of the Berkeley group porting Franz to the Sun?   
  7. How do I get a copy?

  9.   Also, I have a few concerns about configuring a Sun to run Franz well.  
  10. The basic desktop Sun workstation provides 1 Mbyte of physical memory.   
  11. This can be extended to 2 Mbyte or one can add an Ethernet interface
  12. *but not both*.  Since I am unwilling to give up my Ethernet
  13. interface I may be forced to run Franz in 1 Mbyte and contend with
  14. the added paging overhead (using a 68010 running 4.2bsd and a local disk).

  16.   Has anyone out there had experience running Franz Lisp on a Sun in
  17. such a configuration?  Can I get away without the 2 Mbyte extension?
