  1. SET EDITOR [program]  -  define the editor
  2. Usually:   /usr/local/bin/emacs
  3.  
  4. The EDITOR variable defines what editor is used when you use the EDIT
  5.   command or use control-e while writing a message.  The usual setting
  6.   defines gnu emacs as the editor.  
  7.  
  8. If you use another editor, probably you want GNUEMACS-MMAIL set to NO.
  9.  
  10. For more help, type "help" and one of the following:
  11. (at any prompt:)  save-init   set   show   edit   set control-e-editor
  12.                   set gnuemacs-mmail   set use-editor-always
  13. (at the MM> prompt:)  send
