  1. SORT  -  sort messages by date

  3. Usage:  SORT
  4.  
  5. The SORT command sorts messages chronologically by the dates the
  6.   messages were received on your machine.  In your main mail file,
  7.   messages are already sorted that way.  However, if for example you 
  8.   MOVE messages between mail files, they may become disordered, and 
  9.   SORT will rearrange them.
