  1. EDIT  -  edit messages in a mail file
  2.  
  3. Usage: EDIT [message-sequence]
  4.   Unless specified, the message-sequence is "current".
  5.  
  6. The EDIT command is used to edit a message or set of messages in your
  7.   mail file.  The editor used is defined with SET EDITOR; the default 
  8.   is emacs.  The main purpose of editing received mail is to save 
  9.   only part of a long message, or fix a typo.
  10.

  12.     MM>edit 10       #edits message 10
