  1. CHECK  -  check for new messages

  3. Usage:  CHECK
  4.  
  5. The CHECK command checks for new mail in /usr/spool/mail.  If there is 
  6.   any, MM will copy it into your mail file and display a header for 
  7.   each new message.  Otherwise, the response is "No new mail.".
  8.  
  9. MM normally checks for mail during a session at frequent intervals.  
  10.   CHECK lets you do an additional check when you want to.
  11.

  13.   information   set check-interval   set continuous-check
