  1. WHO  -  check a mail address

  3. Usage:  WHO address

  5. The WHO command shows where mail will go if you SEND to an address.
  6.                   --Response:--    --If:--
  7. Send>who abc         abc                abc is a userid
  8. Send>who abc         xyz        abc ROUTEd mail to xyz
  9. Send>who consultant  dcl        consultant is a system alias
  10. Send>who rich         rich@comp.bfu.edu    rich is an alias you DEFINEd
  11. Send>who ?           (list of aliases)    you DEFINEd one or more aliases
  12.  
  13. The response to WHO will sometimes be a list of names (try "who bug-mm").
  14. If the address is not valid, the response is "... User unknown" and then
  15. your own userid, since mail to that address would be returned to you.

  17. The FINGER command gives information about users.
