  3.                   Surface Naval Action in the South Pacific
  4.                       Demo Disk Technical Supplement for
  5.                      IBM AT, PS2, & Compatible Computers

  7. Hardware Required:
  8.      Requires an IBM 386 or better, or a 100% compatible. Requires a minimum 
  9. 2 MB of RAM, with DOS loaded high. Requires DOS 5.0 or higher. Requires MCGA 
  10. for VGA graphics system, or 100% compatible. Memory Requirement: 610 thousand 
  11. bytes of conventional memory (if using a sound driver) and 600 thousand bytes 
  12. of expanded memory.  Sound Supported: IBM, AdLib, ProAudio, SoundBlaster and 
  13. compatibles, and Roland sound. 
  14.  
  15. Installation:
  16.      To change to a different sound driver other than IBM, Type INSTALL, press
  17. enter/return, then select reconfigure hardware options.  Select your sound
  18. card and press enter/return.  To run the game type TF1942 and press 
  19. enter/return. The first time the demo is run a 3d land file will be generated,
  20. this will take aprox 5 to 10 minutes.  The game can now be played by again by
  21. typeing TF1942.

  24.      Move Cursor         ARROW keys, mouse or joystick
  25.      Increase Time Rate  +   (for max time rate Shift +)
  26.      Decrease Time Rate  -   (for min time rate Shift -)
  27.      Pause               ALT+P
  28.      Remove Pause        Any key
  29.      Quit to DOS         ALT+Q

  31. Changing Stations, to go to:
  32.      Bridge              F1, if no menus open, ESC key, right mouse button, or
  33.                          joystick button.
  34.      Charts              F2
  35.      Gun Director        F3, to switch to wide view use 3
  36.      Observer View       F4
  37.      Torpedo Director    F5
  38.      Damage Control      F6
  39.      Binoculars          F7

  44.      Increase Speed      1
