- The fractals used to make this tile set were generated by the
- freeware program Fractint, by the Stone Soup Group in Compuserve's
- Computer Art forum. Once a fractal was saved in GIF format, I used a
- conversion program (also available in the Computer Art forum) to
- convert the GIF files to PCX files. It took a final trip through
- ZSoft's Paintbrush program to generate the correct pallette for
- Tilemaker to be able to read the PCX files. After that, the toughest
- job was trying to decide the choicest part of the fractal to clip for
- a tile face. Several of the files are represented more than once in
- the tile set.

- Thanks to the Stone Soup Group for their lovely program, and to Nels
- for adding the PCX import utility to Tilemaker. And, of course, my
- mom. What a long strange trip it's been!
