  1. This is a sample adventure built using the Graphics Adventure
  2. Game Builder from DC Software.  It is intended to be used as 
  3. a basis for experimentation, and you are welcome and indeed
  4. encouraged to make changes to it.  Keep the original ZIP files
  5. in a safe place just in case you need to restore the files.
  6.  
  7. If you make any changes to the story that you think are worth
  8. keeping, send them to me and I will incorporate them into the
  9. future releases.

  11. The story is short and simple:  The king is missing.  Your job
  12. is to find him.  The main purpose is to provide an example of
  13. an adventure written with the system.

  21. Hello, fellow adventurer.  This is a simple adventure.  You 
  22. start off as a young being (human, elf, dwarf, wizard, archer
  23. or fighter), in search of adventure.

  25. Armed with your father's old sword and a little money, you 
  26. decide to go make your fortune.
  27.  
  28. Your frient Jimmy always said he'd go with you if you decided
  29. to go.  It never hurts to ask.  You seem to recall that his
  30. older brother left some better weapons before he joined the
  31. King's navy.
  32.  
  33. This are uncertain times.  There is a rumor that the King has 
  34. been missing for several weeks, and no one knows where He is.
  35. There's some idea!  You might go to the King's Palace, and
  36. offer your services to the Queen!
