  22. * Changed MakeTeXMF for the new font structure ofo DC, FC and CM.
  23. * Change the default font definitions for T1 and OT1. The definitions
  24.   sautercm.fd and sauterdc.fd were removed and replaced by two new
  25.   definitions ntexT1.fd and ntexOT1.fd. Now the DC fonts and the sauter
  26.   CM fonts are appropriately used. (inspired by Thomas Esser and

  34. * the psfonts courier, urw, utopia, charter found a place in psfonts and got
  35.   a new structure. ntf-ps package totally recreated.

  69. * upgraded LaTeX2e to patchlevel 3
  70. * added isolatin1.sty in /usr/lib/texmf/tex/latex/sty
  71. * apps-default file for xdvi included, configuring with installntex.
  72. * installntex now creates the ls-R database for kpathsea. Could be
  73.   recreated by a shell script in ./tools later.
  74. * directory structure in /usr/lib/texmf changed to speed up kpathsea.
  75. * in installntex lthyphen.cfg will now be linked to lthyphen.babel or 
  76.   lthyphen.latex depending if babel was installed or not.
  77. * changed the permissions for the direcotires/files in /usr/lib/texmf.
  78.   /usr/lib/texmf/fonts/tmp/... is now 1777, all create.sh are now 0700
  79.   the directories are 0755, the files are 0644, the rest of the scripts 
  80.   are 0755.
  81. * installntex now uses /usr/bin/initex to avoid using an old version of initex.
  82. * changed definitions for DocumentPaperSizes in /usr/lib/texmf/ps/config.ps
  83. * install.sh does no longer assume that "." is in PATH.

  90.   of the distribution could be reduced further. I made a terrible mistake...
  91. * added a deskjet driver package. Does not work with the compelte kpathsea 
  92.   directory structure.
