  6. Possible problem with Windows NT involving inability to write to the
  7. registry because of insufficient security. The setup appears to be
  8. rare, so we haven't been able to get enough information to establish a

  14. Problem with Multiview Mascot: If you are running a Mascot session on
  15. the server, and paste a large amount of text (more than about 100 
  16. chars) from the clipboard to TelStar, Mascot locks up completely.
  17. You can perform the same operation running the same program
  18. without Mascot, and get normal operation.

  23. Setting environment variables doesn't seem to work on SCO 3.2v4.2, even

  30. Ansi/vt100 code sequences that start with "ESC[?" and "ESC[=" seem to
  31. be implementation-specific or custom implementations. Certainly I've
  32. found no documentation delineating any standards for any of these
  33. sequences. If anyone can point any out, I'd appreciate it.

  38. The Ansi spec seems to assume that only 8 colours are available for
  39. foreground and background. Because Windows doesn't impose those
  40. limitations, I've expanded the spec. See term definitions in the
  41. help file for details.

  44. NAWS (Negotiate About Window Size)

  46. The telnet client and server should be able to negotiate NAWS at any
  47. time (the server may refuse to accept a change - this is still
  48. "successful" negotiation). In practice, I've found that (with SCO and
  49. Linux at least) the server ignores attempts to negotiate NAWS after the
  50. initial flurry of handshaking. This is not correct behaviour, but doesn't
  51. seem to be doing any harm.
