  30. <b>SetDeviceGammaRamp():</b><br>
  31. Monitor Calibration Wizard uses the Windows API call SetDeviceGammaRamp(). This 
  32. function is limited by two things. First, your video card needs to support loadable 
  33. gamma ramps. If you video card does not, this program will not be able to do anything. 
  34. Second, this function doesn't let you load extreme gamma ramps, mainly very dark 
  35. or bright gamma ramps. If you create or modify a profile in a way that becomes 
  36. to extreme, this function will not accept the change and the profile will not 
  37. be applied.<br>
  38. <br>
  39. <b>Color Depth:</b><br>
  40. In order to set a color profile, your color depth must be set to at least "15 
  41. bit", and yes "16 bit", "24 bit", "32 bit", 
  42. and higher are fine too. There are ways to provide the same affect to 256 color 
  43. mode but that will not be implemented. Sorry to that one person out there who 
  44. was looking for 256 color support :)<br>
