Copyshop uses the user interface of your scanner as standard. With the menu item "Settings" you can activate the direct scanner drive. Not all scanner drivers support this mode, however.
If you have any problems with your scanner, you should definitely search your scanner manufacturer┤s Internet pages for current drivers. Perfect functioning is only guaranteed with the latest TWAIN drivers.
Scan coloured pictures with a resolution of 100-150 dpi only. The quality is perfectly adequate for the pintout. But by doing this you increase the scanning and printing speed considerably.
Coloured pictures with a high resolution take up a lot of the main memory. So as not to overtax your computer you should take a look at the estimate picture size in the inside screen margin. This should not be bigger than the main memory!
Every printer has a non-printable area. If you have activated the Copy Margins option, you may not be able to make 100% copies because the whole picture will not fit onto the paper. Copyshop 2000 automatically reduces the size of the picture.
If you click the percent symbol an edit window will appear in which you can enter a value. You will also find the C button here to abtain 100% again.
If you position the mouse on the selection points for scanning quality, a speech bubble will appear showing you the current dpi size.
Only if you register as a user before the next version appears will you be able to abtain program updates at favourable rates.
