- A. Installing NETCOMplete 3.2
- ============================================

- Installing NETCOMplete 3.2 for Windows 3.X:
- 1. Start Windows 3.X and insert the disk or CD into the appropriate drive.
- 2. Go to Program Manager, click on File, and then click on Run.
- 3. In the Command Line box, type the path to the setup program (for example,
- a:\win31\setup for a floppy diskette or d:\win31\setup for a CD-ROM)
- 4. Follow the instructions on the screen to install NETCOMplete 3.2 and register
- a NETCOMplete account.

- Installing NETCOMplete 3.2 for Windows 95:
- 1. Start Windows 95 and insert the disk or CD into the appropriate drive.
- 2. Click on the Start button, and then click on Run.
- 3. In the Run box, type the path to the setup program (for example,
- a:\win95\setup for a floppy diskette or d:\win95\setup for a CD-ROM)
- 4. Follow the instructions on the screen to install NETCOMplete 3.2 and register
- a NETCOMplete account.

- 1. If you already have an existing NetCruiser or NETCOMplete account and
- do not wish to setup an additional account, DO NOT continue through the
- registration process.
- 2. If you download NETCOMplete 3.2 from the NETCOM web site and wish to
- use Netscape Navigator, please call 1-800-NETCOM1 to request a copy.

- B. Application notes
- ============================================

- 1. Installation
- a. A "Divide by zero or overflow error" may occur if you press <ALT><TAB> while
- NETCOMplete is installing the Netscape Navigator application. If this occurs,
- restart Windows and run the installation program again. Do not press <ALT><TAB>
- during the installation.

- 2. WWW
- a. The NETCOMplete browser cannot be selected as a Startup Application.
- b. To add a web page to your existing bookmark file, go to the site and right click on the
- mouse. Select "Add Current Page to Bookmarks" and the page will be added automatically.
- c. When you select "Go to Bookmarks" from the Bookmarks menu and choose "Go to URL", the
- Bookmark window will remain open while the browser loads the selected page.

- a. Start NETCOMplete and log into your account.
- b. Click on the Netscape Navigator icon on the NETCOMplete toolbar or launch
- the NETCOMplete web browser.
- c. Type http://www.netcom.com/support in the location field and press Enter.

- d. Click on the word Windows in order to view the Online Manual.
