  4. INSTALLATION
  5. ============
  6. ERSNT is for FAT/FAT32 partition only.
  7. You will find two zip files in the full version download:
  8.  
  9. vb6run.zip:
  10. ----------
  11. Includes all ERSNT required OCXs and DLLs.
  12. Unzip the VB6run into a temporary directory and install by
  13. double clicking the Setup.exe.
  14.  
  15. ersntu.zip:
  16. ----------
  17. Includes all ERSNT files.
  18. Unzip the ersntu.zip to another temporary directory, double
  19. click the Setup.exe and select the desired drive. Then click the Install
  20. button.
  21. ERS NT installs in any drive with no path option because it has to
  22. be accessed from a DOS environment that doesn't recognize long file
  23. names.

  26. Reinstall and Updates
  27. ======================
  28. Download the about 90 KB and unzip to a temporary directory.
  29. Select the "Reinstall" button if you are reinstalling to a previous 
  30. installation.
  31. Take care  to see that the correct drive to the previous installation is
  32. selected and shown in the drive window. 
  33.  
  34. When reinstalling, don't delete the previous {older} Ersnt directory.
  35.  
  36. Merely selecting the "Reinstall" command, it will 
  37. update and replace all files and recreate any missing files or folders.

  39. UNINSTALL:
  40. =========
  41. Open ErsNT.exe and select to delete all backups then
  42. delete the entire ErsNT directory and shortcut in the StartMenu.

  45. UNINSTALLING the VB6run:
  46. =======================
  47. To Un-install, go to the Control Panel \ Add Remove Programs, scroll 
  48. down to VB6run and click uninstall. Suggest not to uninstall the
  49. VB6run because it will be needed to run other programs programmed
  50. with Visual Basic 6.0.
