  35.     -*-  An Introduction to the Next Generation of Textfile Authors  -*-

  39.     APPROACH TO DANGER
  40.     ------------------
  41.     Perhaps an introduction is due, and some sort of explanation why this
  42.     author starts a new group instead of writing for the group he once
  43.     founded and lead. This is the story. 
  44.  
  45.      * THE NAME
  46.                  First, you might know that the Original 'THE CHIEF' quit
  47.                  this scene and moved to Switzerland a couple of years
  48.                  ago. During the time he was active, we shared accounts
  49.                  all over the world, though mostly in the U.S. and had 
  50.                  many friends who knew 'us' as 'The Chief'. When he quit
  51.                  I continued to use our accounts, and held on to the 
  52.                  friends we'd gotten during the years through them. 
  53.  
  54.                  In the beginning, I tried to use my old handle in 
  55.                  letters and messages, but I always had to explain why
  56.                  I had Two Handles, and that's when I decided to use
  57.                  THE CHIEF as my handle, With the approval from the
  58.                  original 'The Chief'. So now you know the story behind
  59.                  the handle-change.
  60.  
  61.      * LEADER?   Yes. I was the Founder and leader of the Swedish
  62.                  Hackers Association, and also a member of the International
  63.                  Hackers Association. Now I am a traitor in their eyes.
  64.                  Why? you ask. It is a short story (didn't expect that,
  65.                  did you? <grin>). It's because I started this group.
  66.                  Some (no names) members thought (and believe) that it
  67.                  is like treason to start a new group. Even after they
  68.                  recieved explanations why I did this, and that my
  69.                  intentions was NOT to leave the group, and NOT to have
  70.                  just another Hacker Group, they still kept their views.
  71.  
  72.                  Well, my explanations did not convince them, so I
  73.                  decided to withdraw, and to end my membership in the
  74.                  group I once started. I don't give much for people that,
  75.                  unfounded, treat members like dirt, keeps vital information
  76.                  from them, and starts to behave like 'gods' for one
  77.                  reason or another. That's not a Group.
  78.  
  79.      * EDITOR?   I have been the editor for both International Hackers
  80.                  Association Annual Report and the Swedish Hackers
  81.                  Association Protocol until now. To run a board, keep
  82.                  the writers writing, collecting own material, editing
  83.                  and put the whole thing together, + writing for my own
  84.                  group, Underground eXperts United (uXu), and publishing
  85.                  The European Digest (TED) was a bit too much for me
  86.                  (most of the time was really spent on keeping the
  87.                  writers on their 'job' <grin>) so I handed over the job
  88.                  to one of the members of the Swedish Hackers Association
  89.                  and would still be writing (as contibutor & member) to the
  90.                  protocols if it hadn't been for the 'traitor' story.

  92.                  I didn't think that I handed over my position as the
  93.                  leader with the Editor job, but that's what I noticed
  94.                  when another member wrote the person I handed the editor
  95.                  job over to, as the leader. Also, there will be claims
  96.                  that I went abroad for such a long time, and that I
  97.                  didn't need to know everything. Bullshit! 3 1/2 months
  98.                  was the 'long time' and no-one said anything even after
  99.                  I had returned about anything. Also, during the time I
  100.                  ran my board as the HQ for the group, another member
  101.                  listed His board as the HQ for the same group. I could
  102.                  cope with that, no problem, but when all of this gets
  103.                  gathered like this, it's easy to understand that some-
  104.                  where during that time, it was enough.

  106.                  Everything I write, I will publish through my OWN group,
  107.                  uXu from now on. I have no connections with the group
  108.                  'Swedish Hackers Association' anymore.

  110.                  I say Good Luck to the new editor, and leader for S.H.A.
  111.                  I know you will do a good job.

  113.      * uXu?      Underground eXperts United was formed for three reasons:
  114.                  
  115.                      1) Swedish Hackers Association was on the edge
  116.                         when the 2nd of it's members was caught and got
  117.                         his equipment apprehended by the police.
  118.  
  119.                         The first member that got busted, now awaiting
  120.                         trial since over a year ago, have had 'strange'
  121.                         noise on his phone, vans and other cars outside
  122.                         his house, and other various 'strange' things
  123.                         happen to him. 
  124.                         
  125.                         We still await the outcome of his forthcoming
  126.                         trial, if the legal system can get their butt
  127.                         out and quit stalling.
  128.  
  129.                      2) Swedish Hackers Association ONLY publish
  130.                         things about Hacking/Phreaking and other
  131.                         miscellaneous RELATED subjects.
  132.  
  133.                         I write a lot of other things, like stories,
  134.                         'How to..' series, + Hacking/Phreaking related
  135.                         things. In fact, almost everything can be 
  136.                         published with the uXu label.
  137.  
  138.                      3) The 'traitor' shit.
  139.  
  140.      * THE REST  The TED series, and all of the now available uXu
  141.                  textfiles are written solely by me, but outside writers
  142.                  are more than welcome to contact me to join the staff,
  143.                  or just to contribute with a textfile. Everything is 
  144.                  welcomed! Just call uXu's homeboard INFO ADDICT at
  145.                  +46-498-22113 and talk to me there.

  147.                  FACT: INFO ADDICT & uXu have NOTHING to do with 
  148.                        the Swedish Hackers Association.
