  16. Now for the facts:
  17.              The assembly of an M-80 Firecracker is illegal in the United
  18. States and is punishable by law. It is also illegal to sell explosives to
  19. people without a permit that allows a person to do so! I am not familiar with
  20. what the authorities will do if they catch you doing something that is
  21. described in this text file,but I'm sure that it could,at least,ruin your
  22. weekend if not ruining your life by having a felony on your records!

  28. Chicago Paper Tube. Phone # 1-312-666-1404. You will be getting the paper
  29. tubes from here. Order tubes that are 1/2" in diameter by 1 1/2" long with a
  30. 1/16" wall with RED outer wrap.

  32. Paper Products. 1310 5th St.,Tempe,AZ. 85281. Order 1/2" diameter paper end
  33. plugs. Write to them for prices. REMEMBER:for every 100 paper tubes you
  34. order,you must order 200 paper end plugs.

  37. Order one roll of 1/8" water proof fuse. Each M-80 needs a 2" fuse, so for
  38. every 100 paper tubes you order,you should have 17' of water proof fuse.

  42. 250 paper tubes you order.

  45. Order #AL-105 Aluminum Powder. Order 1 pound for every 250 paper tubes you
  46. order.

  48. Buy 1 gallon of Elmers glue from a hardware store or lumber yard.

  51. *Assembly*

  54. 1.  Put 1 drop of glue on the inside of one end of the tube and insert the
  55. paper end plug.
  56.  
  57. 2.  Punch or drill a 1/8" hole in the side of the paper tube.
  58.  
  59. 3.  Cut the fuse you purchased into 2" long pieces.
  60.  
  61. 4.  Insert the fuse into the hole in the paper tube and glue in place.
  62.  
  63. 5.  Scoop the paper tube with the fuse into a container of flash powder. The
  64. paper tube should be about 2/3 full.
  65.  
  66. 6.  Put glue on the end plug and insert it into the paper tube filled with
  67. flash powder.
  68.  
  69. 7.  The completed M-80 firecracker should dry and the glue will become hard in
  70. 30-45 minutes.

  76. Sensitive to friction and impact. High Explosive!

  78. Potassium Perchlorate     2 lbs.
  79. Aluminum Powder           1 lb.
  80.  
  81. There must be a 2 to 1 ratio of Potassium Perchlorate to Aluminum Powder in
  82. order for the flash powder to be good. It must also be mixed well.

  89. Some people can make a fortune off these things,if they can front the money to
  90. buy all the stuff and if they can find people who want to buy them.

  92. DO NOT ADVERTISE! I repeat-M-80's are illegal and the cops will bust you if
  93. they catch you selling these things.

  95. If you can not contact any of the companies for materials needed,you should
  96. look in the classified section of Soldier's of Fortune magazine for fireworks
  97. companies. Order their catalogs. Many sell tubes,end plugs,fuses,and sometimes
