- Version 06 Microsoft Mail - Modem Script Files
-
- These modem scripts are to use NetComm and Avtek modems with Microsoft Mail,
- both Remote mail and DOS gateways.
-
- The .SCR files must be copied to the \GLB subdirectory of MS Mail.
- These files will be accessible to MS Mail Remote under the
- Mail/Communications menu.
-
- For use with DOS gateways these files should be placed in the \GLB directory
- on the relevant drive for MS Mail (usually M: drive).
-
- The following Microsoft Mail script files are provided:
-
- SMARTMDM.SCR: "NetComm SmartModem 144/288/336/56"
- This script is to be used with any NetComm SmartModem series.
-
- SMARTTA.SCR: "NetComm Smart TA ISDN"
- This script is to be used with the NetComm Smart TA ISDN Adapter.
-
- ROADSTER.SCR: "NetComm Roadster 144/288/336/56"
- This script is to be used with any NetComm Roadster series, except the AM5600.
-
- INMODEM.SCR: "NetComm InModem 144/288/336"

- Rocket series.
-
- SOCKETRK.SCR: "NetComm Socket Rocket 288/336"

-

- This script is to be used with any NetComm ProRack series.
-
- MEGAMDM.SCR: "Avtek MegaModem 144/288/336"
- This script is to be used with any Avtek MegaModem series.
-
- AM56IN56.SCR: "NetComm Roadster56/InModem56"
- This script is to be used with the Roadster56 and the InModem56.
-
- Note:
-
- Microsoft Mail relies on numeric responses from the modem. Therefore a 0 is displayed
- in place of an OK etc. This may confuse or cause problems with other software packages
- resulting in errors being displayed. If you are experiencing difficulties use a terminal
- package and reset the modem to factory defaults with the following command:
-
- AT&F&W (for the AM5600/IN5600, issue AT&F1&W instead)
- then press ENTER
-
- Do not worry if you see no responses during this time, but after you have entered ATZ and
- pressed ENTER you should see an OK returned from the modem.
