  2.                                 Cosmodynes Help

  5.      This is the main menu for the program.  It displays  the current  date 
  6.      and time as kept in your computer's internal memory as well as all the 
  7.      main menu items for the program itself.

  10.      FILE - Select this menu item when you want to  exit the  program. Upon 
  11.      exiting the  program, COSMODYN.EXE  will save  various paramters  in a 
  12.      file named COSMODYN.INI so that the  parameters will  be restored  the 
  13.      next time you run COSMODYN.EXE.

  16.      INPUT  -   Select  this  menu item  to clear  any calculated  data and 
  17.      display the natal input data, the diurnal input data, and the names on 
  18.      file windows.

  21.      HOUSES -  Select this menu item to set  your choice  of house  system. 
  22.      Click on the name of the system you prefer and all your charts in this 
  23.      session  will  be  calculated  according  to   your  preference.    To 
  24.      permanently change your house system, please change your  options file 
  25.      setting through the OPTIONS menu (Option #27).  You  may want  to exit 
  26.      Cosmodyn and restart it if you only changed  the options  file setting 
  27.      without changing the setting under HOUSE SYSTEM.

  30.      DATA - Select this menu item to view the data that was  calculated for 
  31.      the input data you set. Look through the list of data items and select 
  32.      the one(s) of interest.

  34.      Under DATA is menu  item COSMODYNES.   This option  is for  natal data 
  35.      only. This menu item allows you to see the power, harmony, and discord 
  36.      associated with each planet, sign, house,  element, quality,  trinity, 
  37.      society, and direction.  The dominant (strongest) planet indicates the 
  38.      natural aptitudes which are most pronounced  and the  ease with  which 
  39.      they  could  be developed  into ability.   The most  harmonious planet 
  40.      shows the things with  which the  person can  associate to  bring good 
  41.      fortune.   The  most  discordant  planet shows  the things  with which 
  42.      association will tend to attract misfortune.  The power  of a  sign is 
  43.      significant of the ability to express its qualities and the harmony or 
  44.      discord the extent to which association with the things ruled  by that 
  45.      sign will tend to attract fortune or misfortune.  The power of a house 
  46.      indicates  to  what extent  the department  of life  it rules  will be 
  47.      active in the life  and its  harmony or  discord the  extent to  which 
  48.      fortune or misfortune may be expected in that  department of  life, if 
  49.      nothing is done to change the trend.

  51.      Under DATA is menu item DUAL  COSMODYNES -  This menu  item calculates 
  52.      the cosmodynes between a person and  an event  or between  two people.  
  53.      It tries to show the energies  and harmonies  or discords  between two 
  54.      people.

  57.      WHEELS - Select this menu item in order to view  and/or print  single, 
  58.      dual, or triple chartwheels.

  60.      *** Houses for composite charts can be calculated in one of two  ways: 
  61.      1) Ascendant and intermediate cusps derived  for a  specified latitude 
  62.      based on  a midpoint  Midheaven, 2)  straight midpoint  cusps, meaning 
  63.      latitude  is  not  a  factor and  the composite  cusps are  simply the 
  64.      midpoints of corresponding cusps between the two charts.

  67.      OPTIONS -   Select this  menu item  in order  to view  and change  the 
  68.      various parameters the program uses in its calculations  and displays. 
  69.      A text box will appear that will allow you to edit any or all settings 
  70.      and then save them back to file.

  73.      HELP - This menu item allows you to display information on the various 
  74.      features in the program.
