  1. This text file contains all of the rules that participants of ViperNet League
  2. 333 *MUST* abide by! Failure to do so could mean temporary removal from the
  3. league, or an all out expulsion from it! Make sure you agree with all the
  4. rules listed here before you decide to join!
  5.  
  6. (These rules are neccessary to prevent the league from collapsing into chaos.)
  7.  
  8. 1) All members must remain in constant contact with ViperNet, transferring
  9.    mail between it at LEAST once a day.
  10.  
  11. 2) All members must assure the quickest turn around times possible, preventing
  12.    any unneeded delays that may occur while mail is on their system.
  13.  
  14. 3) All members must have a means of user verification on their BBS, such as a
  15.    CBV or Caller ID. This is to help thwart dupe players!
  16.  
  17. 4) All members must keep their door software up to date at all times! The
  18.    latest version is usually availible at ViperNet, and can be FREQed by you
  19.    if desired.
  20.  
  21. 5) All SysOps will keep an eye on their games, informing the Coordinator of
  22.    any problems, concerns, etc. of the game or it's players.
  23.  
  24. 6) All SysOps are expected to deal with concerns in a private manner, such as
  25.    netmail echoed thru Viper_Sysop area tag. (Area required for all BBS's) 
  26.  
  27. 7) All SysOps are expected to assist the League Coordinator in anyway he asks,
  28.    including suspension/deletion of certain players and resets.
  29.  
  30. 8) All players are expected to keep Inter-BBS messages "clean", thus avoiding
  31.    rude/foul/profain/obnoxious comments, that may offend other BBS's or
  32.    players.

  34. 9) All SysOps are responsible for informing the League Coordinator should 
  35.    their BBS be going down (temporarily or permanently) or if their leaving
  36.    the league altogether.

  38. 10) The SysOp will assure that any one person on their BBS controls a maximum
  39.     of ONE empire.

  41. *** Please understand we sincerly want you in our league. These rules were
  42. *** written only to give the league some sort of structure, and to help
  43. *** deal with problems and troublemakers in a quick and effective manner.
  44. *** Most of these rules are common sense anyways and you will always be given  
  45. *** the opportunity to respond to any rule violations before any disciplinary
  46. *** action is taken.
