  37.    As you can see, there are a few programs in Testing-phase. This means that
  38.    they'll be out soon. In fact, the documentation is already written. But
  39.    I'm still waiting do see if there are bugs in them.

  41.    Also, I need to draw a new ANSi for UpLoader. That can take a while,
  42.    unless you want to draw one and donate it to me? :)

  44.    Note: The LoginCheck PEX was an older PEX for ProBoard 2.00 and is no
  45.          longer developed. BTW, it was an awful thing to see! :-)

  47. Q: Where can I find the latest Virtual Soft Productions?
  48. A: There are many distribution sites over Europe, see down for more
  49.    information. My PEXes can also be found on the World-Wide Web and in
  50.    the near future on a FTP-server. The easiest way is downloading them
  51.    from USS Aurora in Belgium or from my other distribution sites. But, 
  52.    USS Aurora is the fastest, since my programs are hatched into TGPBN 
  53.    over there.

  55. Q: Can I see the latest Virtual Soft Productions in Action?
  56. A: For the moment, no. I don't own a BBS. You can see some of the released
  57.    PEXes in action at one of the distribution BBSes. The PEXes which are in
  58.    Beta-phase can't be seen on a BBS, until I got my own BBS.

  60. Q: Can I join Beta testing?
  61. A: No, that's out of the question. Unless I write a huge program that needs
  62.    a few more Beta testers. But I'm not going to write a Fullscreen Editor
  63.    PEX in the next couple of months, maybe years! :)
  64.    And since ProBoard now has a build-in Fullscreen Editor (TheEdit Lite),
  65.    I'll probably not write an Editor.

  68. A: If you got an E-Mail account, you can write to odebonne@texas.knooppunt.be.
  69.    If you want to attach files to me, you *MUST* use my other account, 
  70.    that's odebonne@www.dma.be! I've also got a Fidonet address, which is 
  71.    2:291/1501.61. Write a Netmail if you have a specific question.

  73. Q: Are the Virtual Soft Productions available on the Internet?
  74. A: Finally, yes... They are stored on the server of DMA - Digitale Metropool
  75.    Antwerpen. The URL to Virtual Soft Productions and other Online info is
  76.    http://www.dma.be/p/bewoner/odebonne/. I don't have a FTP server at this
  77.    moment. Be sure to have Netscape 2.0/Internet Explorer 3.0 if you want
  78.    to see the pages in their full glory.

  80. Q: Will you write other PEXes besides the ones above?
  81. A: It depends... Most of these programs were written during the week after
  82.    the exams :) I have made no PEXes for the last 5 months till Februari 1996.
  83.    You see, I write in terms. Also, I study for Industrial Engineer and I've 
  84.    got still something else to do instead of programming PEXes :-)

  86. Q: Will you ever write a Chatter?
  87. A: For this question, I can be very short, NO! TheMin, a FreeWare chatter by
  88.    [JMJ] Productions is the best chatter ever written for ProBoard, and I'm
  89.    not going to try to make a better one :-)
  90.    Also, Nosferatu Nlm is writing his chatter TCHaT GoLD, which can compete
  91.    with TheMin and has CursorKeys Control, Back-Scroll capacity and the same
  92.    features like TheMin (like Eliza, Abbreviations, ...).

  94. Q: Will you ever write a Oneliner?
  95. A: That's always posible... If I can figure out how to extract text-macro's
  96.    from a string! :)
  97.    As the moment I write this FAQ, there is some code for a Oneliner, but
  98.    it's still very Beta... and JMJLiner (by [JMJ]) is getting better and
  99.    better.

  101. Q: Can I have the source code of ...?
  102. A: No, I don't do such things. I'm sorry... but isn't it enough that all
  103.    my programs are FreeWare?

  105. Q: Will you write levels for EgoKill?
  106. A: Yes! Since I like that game quite a lot, I started working on level. 
  107.    Besides, it was to hot to program anything in C/C++... ;) This is a list
  108.    of levels designed by me.

  115. A: No, absolutely not. You must be kidding, asking such a fool question :-) 
  116.    But, the PEXes are well tested on my PC, and I don't think there are mayor
  117.    bugs in it when they're released.

  160. A: Sure, try freq these at my distribution sites. It is possible that the 
  161.    magic doesn't work on every distribution site! So, try the filename also.

  172. Q: Will your PEXes be hatched into a ProBoard Network?
  173. A: Normally, they are hatched in TPGBN by Ruben Provoost [JMJ]. About a week
  174.    after hatching, they'll arrive in the USA. It is possible that they get
  175.    hatched in PSN/Net or PBNet, but it's not sure... Also, if you receive 
  176.    my PEXes, feel free to hatch them into other nets. But, could you let me
  177.    know when you do that, please?
