  2.                           RGV UPGRADE/BETA INSTRUCTIONS
  3.         ----------------------------------------------------------------
  4.     The following information only pertains to you if you are 
  5.     upgrading from a previous version of Rgv :
  6.  
  7.     10/06/96 - Releasing a wide beta of the "NEW" Rgv.
  8.  
  9.          - Delete RGV.CFG, run RGV /SETUP, and setup each node.
  10.  
  11.          - What were the /CLEAN and /IMPORT functions have now 
  12.            been combined. Simply run RGV /MAINT to add already
  13.            validated users from Renegade's USERS.DAT to your
  14.                    lockout file. If a RGV-LOCK.DAT already exists when
  15.            maintenence is run, all entries preceeded with a
  16.            "+" (permenently locked out numbers) will remain
  17.            in the lockout file while old users that no longer 
  18.            have accounts on your bbs are removed. 
  19.  
  20.          - New key file is required for registered users due 
  21.            to the loss of code. Fret not, just netmail me and
  22.            I'll crashmail it to you.
  23.  
  24.          - Long distance auto-validation is now possible.
  25.  
  26.          - Added inactivity timeout option in RGV /SETUP.
  27.  
  28.          - Added chat feature.. you can even chat with someone
  29.            during a callback interrupt. Alt-C toggles user in
  30.            and out of chat.
  31.  
  32.     09/15/96 - Upgraded a few drives and lost almost all previously
  33.                    written Rgv code. Argh!
